Skype for Business - I hear a dial tone when on a call

If you hear a dial tone during a call, this is likely caused when multiple users are logged into the machine at the same time by using the ‘Switch User’ functionality of Windows.

To resolve this, make sure that only one user is logged into the machine at once or ensure Skype for Business is signed out when switching users.
